I have the peanuts and the small sweet oranges
But no tinsel or Christmas tree
I have the bowl of candies
But no holly or mistletoe
I have DVDs of slushy films
But no ‘Christmas Specials’ on TV
I have the self-gifted bottle of whisky
But no other presents
I have the empty spaces
Where my family used to be
